I just received an email purporting to be from American Express – it came from noreply@acctalerts.com – they imbedded graphics directly from the American express site to make the email look legit.  The text from the email is below.  Guess what happens if you open the document?  Well, I don’t know exactly because I’m darn sure not going to open it.  But most likely it tries to get you to give them your account login credentials.  Then they can order themselves a new card on your account, or just find enough information that they can use the account for online purchases.  Fun, eh?
